Posouzení zdravotního stavu dojnic ve vybraném chovu

The aim of the bachelor's thesis was to evaluate the occurrence of individual types of health disorders in the Agricultural Cooperative Lukavec in the period from January 2019 to January 2021. In this period, an average of 760 dairy cows of Czech spotted cattle were monitored. The literature review focuses on the most common diseases of the digestive system, mammary gland, musculoskeletal system, genital system and reproductive disorders. Describes the causes of the disease, their symptoms, diagnosis and methods of treatment. The practical part deals with individual diseases in the breeding, their development, the reasons for the disease, treatment methods and the amount of economic costs. The results showed that the breeding is most affected by mastitis, caused by poor zoohygienic conditions, quality of litter and short adaptation to new feeds. Musculoskeletal disorders were the second most common disease. During the second year, the incidence of dermatitis and necrobacillosis decreased in the second year due to a change in the procedure of hoof bathing, but on the contrary increased the incidence of toe ulcer, white line disease and Rusterholz ulcer due to the construction of a milking parlor and moving dairy cows over unsuitable floors. The third most afflicted disease was genital disease and reproductive disorders.

Industry representation among the sponsors of Czech professional sport

Title: Industry representation among the sponsors of Czech professional sport Objectives: The main purpose of the bachelor thesis is to chart the industries in which sponsors of Czech professional sport operate. Part of the thesis is also a mutual comparison of the resulting statistics of all included sports. Methods: Analysis of publicly available virtual data, gradually collected on the official websites of sports subjects that were included in the thesis. The complete analysis process was implemented in Microsoft Excel, where the resulting statistics were also constructed and adequately organized. Results: Through the analysis of virtual data, statistics were produced, which together present the representation of established industries in Czech professional sport. The resulting data are divided in detail according to individual sports and specified types of sponsorship, which allows any mutual comparison between these categories. The work also contains summary statistics uniting all included sports subjects. The published results can be used as a basis for the creation of reports and professional publications dealing with sports sponsorship or for the implementation of other, more detailed, research of a similar nature. The Problems of cultivated examination of stool - bacteriology

Diarrheal diseases are a global problem. In developing countries, where there is a low hygienic standard and limited availability of medical care, a large proportion of mortality is caused by diarrhea, in developed countries deaths are less frequent. In our conditions the most common infections are salmonellosis caused by the bacteria of genus Salmonella, campylobacteriosis caused by Campylobacter bacteria, and Enterotoxicoses, which are food poisonings. Gastroenteritis can also be caused by viruses such as moderate adenoviruses, kaliciviruses and astroviruses. Parasitic gastroenteritis is a problem solely for developing countries in tropical areas. In the theoretical part of my bachelor thesis I elaborate the general characteristics of diarrhea and the description and possibilities of diagnostics of the most frequent agents of bacterial gastroenteritis. The practical part was processed in the laboratory of the microbiology Synlab in České Budějovice, where I carried out an identification of bacterial agents of infectious diarrhea from rectal swabs by cultivation on suitable media, accurate determination was performed by biochemical tests, MALDI-TOF and agglutination tests for accurate serotyping of strains. From the obtained data and data from the laboratory I elaborated a statistic comparing the laboratory results with the results in the whole Czech Republic. The aim of my thesis was to acquaint myself with the problematics of infectious gastroenteritis, to elaborate a specialized research on the topic, to describe and acquire methods of direct detection of bacteria routinely used in microbiological diagnosis of diarrhea - especially cultivation and statistically compare laboratory results with the whole Czech Republic.
